Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo has again won the Parliamentary seat of Shai-Osudoku constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Shai-Osudoku Constituency Parliamentary seat was contested by only the two main political parties in Ghana – NDC & NPP on 7th December, 2020. The NDC was represented by Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo and the NPP by BENJAMIN NARGEH.

Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo is the incumbent member of parliament for Shai-Osudoku Constituency. Her political carrier began when her husband – Mr William Ocloo, who was then the aspirant for the NDC, died in a road accident in May 2016. He was said to have died on the spot in a crash which occurred at Juaso in the Asante Akyem South District of the Ashanti Region. Mrs. Ocloo had no choice than to step into the shoes of her deceased husband. The widow won the election in 2016, and became the first female to represent the constituency in parliament.
